Boswell High English teacher and cheerleading coach Heather Jackson is accused of having an improper relationship with a 16-year-old student. Fort Worth police arrested the 37-year-old Fort Worth resident on Tuesday for allegedly trying to solicit sex from the boy. According to the arrest warrant, Jackson first sent the child messages via Facebook and pressured him into providing his cell phone number, which Jackson then allegedly used to send the student text messages.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that his parents filed a complaint earlier this month. The teen told police he tried to end the relationship when the messages became more sexual in nature. He said Jackson then sent a letter threatening to sue if he did not erase what she had sent him.

Jackson, 37, may also face a charge of resisting arrest as a result of contact with a fugitive officer who arrested her Tuesday afternoon at her Fort Worth home, said Sgt. Pedro Criado, a police spokesman ... According to the arrest warrant affidavit, written by Detective J.D. Ross, Jackson asked the teen to go to a movie on Mother's Day, but he declined. The affidavit says Jackson continued to text the boy, including asking him whether he knew why she had seated him in the front row of her class ... Jackson suggested that they use code words and texted the teen, "U r so sexy!" the affidavit states. After the teen again asked Jackson to stop sending him messages, he told school officials that Jackson called him into her classroom and showed him a typed letter, purportedly written by an attorney, threatening to sue the teen for slander if he did not delete the messages from his phone and Facebook as she watched.
