New Orleans teacher accused of having sex with a student New Orleans Police say 32-year old Dominic Lewis first exchanged sexually explicit texts with the 16-year old girl; on a cell phone he allegedly bought for her ... The girl’s parents became suspicious, then discovered the phone and texts messages detectives say that appeared to be about a sexual encounter. They called police. Teacher at Clark High arrested for sexual relationship with student A former teacher at Joseph S. Clark High school has been arrested for allegedly engaging in improper conduct with a female student. A spokesperson for FirstLine said that Dominic Lewis was terminated prior to his arrest by the NOPD on Thursday. FirstLine said it is cooperating with police and will be monitoring the situation closely. Police said detectives learned that the 32-year-old Lewis and a 16-year-old student were exchanging inappropriate text messages and further investigation revealed that the two were engaged in a sexual relationship.
