Wagner High School teacher's aide carried on a lurid 18-month affair with one of her students that came to light after she told a colleague she feared her husband would find a sex tape the two had made, according to a Daily News investigation. Dina Casaliggi, a 38-year-old mother of two, resigned from her teacher's aide job in September 2013, five months after confessing her dalliance to a Susan Wagner staffer, according to documents obtained by the Daily News through a Freedom of Information Law request. Both the Department of Education's Special Commissioner of Investigation and the NYPD investigated the allegations, but Ms. Casaliggi was not criminally charged with statutory rape because it could not be determined whether the student was legally a minor when the alleged affair began, according to the Daily News. He was 19 years old when the NYPD probe ended last October, a police source told the Daily news.
