The student at the center of the case told Children's Assessment Center forensic interviewer on Feb. 19 that [Corrie Anne] Long would arrange for the boy to be excused from one of his classes and would then perform oral sex on him in her classroom. The boy also told the interviewer that Long told him not to tell anyone about the incident because she would lose her job. The principal of the school, Wendi Witthaus, was first alerted about the incident on Feb. 11 when another student told her about odd behavior between Long and the boy. Tags:
KHOU: Cy-Fair middle school teacher accused of improper relationship with 8th grade student (Mar 24 2014) Corrie Anne Long, 43, who is married, is charged with sexual assault of a child and improper relationship with a student. Long’s relationship with the student, who was 15 years old and in the 8th grade, was brought to light when another student saw the two of them engaging in “odd behavior,” according to court documents. The witness told another teacher, and an investigation was launched. The witness reported seeing the student smack Long on the rear end in an afternoon tutorial class and also saw Long sitting on the boy’s lap. The witness said the boy would also come into his 5th period class to “mess” with the teacher and would flirtatiously touch her hair.When investigators questioned the boy, he allegedly admitted to having sexual contact with Long, who was his math teacher. The boy said Long would get him out of HQT class and would take him into her empty classroom, where the sexual encounters would occur. One of the incidents allegedly happened just before the Thanksgiving break in 2013. The boy said he told his teacher the two of them shouldn’t do what they were doing, but she told him to keep quiet about it because she could lose her job.

The documents state it was another student who saw some unusual behavior between Long and the student, and then told a teacher. Long is charged with sexual assault of a child. She was out Monday on bond.
KPRC: Teacher accused of sexually assaulting underage male student (Mar 24 2014) Corrie Anne Long, a math teacher at Hopper Middle School, is charged with improper relationship with a student and sexual assault of a child under 17 years of age. Court documents state a student reported seeing strange behavior between Long and a male 8th grade student. The student told investigators they saw the 8th grader hitting Long on her behind. The student also said they saw Long sitting on the lap of the 8th grader ... The student victim told investigators that Long is his math teacher and that he has known her since the 6th grade. Court documents show the boy admitted to police that he and Long were involved in a sexual act in her classroom on Nov. 15, 2013. The boy told investigators Long told him not to say anything because she would lose her job. The victim was 15 at the time of the incident.
