Brett James Smith aka Brett J. Zagorac: DPS suing AZ Db Fingerprinting over approval accused child

Court documents from a DPS lawsuit cited a 2002 investigation report, claiming Zagorac rubbed a student’s back under his shirt while the rest of the class was watching a movie in a dark classroom at two different times. Landl said that student was her son. Police arrested Zagorac then on two counts of misdemeanor battery.​

An accused child molester who has been arrested multiple times is now locked in a legal battle with the Arizona Department of Public Safety over a fingerprint clearance card that would allow him to work with kids. Court documents say the tutor, Brett Smith, was arrested at least 10 times in Indiana and Illinois before coming to Arizona and changed his name. "This is definitely him," says Col. State law enforcement officials are attempting to stop a Chandler teacher who has been arrested 10 times on suspicion of inappropriately touching children from being able to work in local schools.
