The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office today arrested two Boiling Springs teachers accused of giving alcohol and marijuana to several teenagers at parties this summer. Authorities said both woman also had sex with youths. Sarah Jane Lindsay, 42, of 438 Maplecroft St., and Audrey Beidleman Grabarkiewicz, 44, of 230 Sandy Drive, were taken into custody after a parent came forward with a complaint in July.

Authorities say [Sarah] Lindsay had been wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet and was allowed to leave home with permission. Deputies said Lindsay was arrested after she couldn't give authorities documentation of where she went May 24.Lindsay will stay in jail until she goes to court.

A former Spartanburg County kindergarten teacher is behind bars after pleading guilty to sexual conduct with a minor. Sarah Jane Lindsay, 44, pleaded guilty to 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor between 11 and 14-years old and nine counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor ... Lindsay was sentenced to 10-years, suspended to 40-months. She is required serve 80 percent of the sentence and will be added to the sex offender registry. She will also have to serve five years probation and attend mental health counseling.
