South Aiken teacher pleads guilty to sex with student A former South Aiken High School teacher was sentenced to three months in jail and probation after pleading guilty Thursday to having a sexual relationship with a student. Michael Paul Waters was sentenced to five years in prison suspended to one year. Circuit Court Judge Garrison Hill said Waters would serve 90 days in the Aiken County detention center and the remainder on house arrest.
