Teachers at the boy's school in Derby became concerned he was regularly missing lessons. One of the teachers found the two of them by the bushes on December 7, 2017, and Yates was arrested.​

A MONSTER mum-of-three 'rewarded' a 12-year-old boy with crisps and sweets to touch her sexually, a court heard. Deborah Yates, 38, encouraged the child to miss school and meet her in a field where some of the activity took place, Derbyshire Live reports. The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was commended for his bravery after coming forward to report Yates.
