    Darrell Keene, 40, was working as a middle school teacher in Andover, Mass., when, police said, he met the 15-year-old Stratham, N.H., boy online.     Andover teacher admitted to underage sex in NH case

    According to a court affidavit, Keene was charged after the father of a 15-year-old boy went to police “to report an unlawful sexual relationship” between an adult and his son. Stratham is just west of Portsmouth. The boy had been sneaking out of the house at night. And his parents had found inappropriate, sexual text messages on his iPhone. The boy told his parents he’d been chatting in a website called Skout with a man later identified as Keene for about a month, according to the affidavit written by Stratham Detective Sgt.     After chatting for about two weeks, Keene and the boy allegedly agreed to meet in a location where the adult teacher would be waiting in his car. The two had “sexual relations,” according to text messages later retrieved a forensic investigator from the boy’s phone, according to the affidavit. After this, the boy confronted Keene, asking him if he was really 17. Keene allegedly admitted he was age 40 and a school teacher, Pierce wrote.

    Using a reverse phone number look-up, the boy’s father found out the number in his son’s phone came back to a Keene, an Andover school teacher who was also artistic director at the Spotlight Playhouse in Haverhill. Using the West Middle School web page, the father printed out a picture of Keene and showed it to his son, according to the affidavit. The boy told his father he’d had sex with Keene in the back seat of a car. With assistance from Portsmouth Police, Pierce then had retrieved text messages from the boy’s iPhone.
