She pled guilty and will be sentenced on Aug. 8. We know them....her hubby is devistated and is NOT supporting her....he is filing for divorce. Andrea has always been the one who needed to be showered with attention in high school, so to be honest, not really shocked that she would be willing to throw her entire life away for some attention. She needs mental help more than jail time. Her poor kids.
BGM....Yeah the kids always suffer, does show the degree of a selfishness. How does a highly educated person come to this conclusion? Even if you don't care about yourself or your spouse you got to think about your kids. As for jail and or mental help lets hope that she can get both. I personally don't want these people walking the streets, male or female, and until these crimes have a stiffer punishment I guess we will have to endure that.

This is not the first teacher -student scandal at Fort Thomas. If you run a news search around 1997, there was an earlier one. Instead of texting sex messages, there were letters the girl had kept as evidence when the male teacher attempted to force the relationship to continue. The teacher claimed that her male friends kidnapped and threatened him to leave her alone -this announcement hit the media like a bomb. He eventually backed down on his story and quietly resigned. The authorities decided to sweep it under the rug. Instead of throwing the male teacher into jail for sex abuse, he was allowed to resign. This result taught a very unhealthy lesson to both students and teachers. Students began to NOT respect the personal boundaries with their teachers and teachers received a message that there would not be a serious price package. There was an annual vote on TILF, and bag-a-teacher became an ego game with both genders. A very unhealthy and unpleasant climate. Why did this climate emerge? Perhaps because no one wanted a public discussion of the problem and preferred to pretend it didn't exist.. perhaps the administration ignored the pleas of teachers under siege from the bag-a-teacher-game.. perhaps because too many teachers at the school were too closely related to families in this small city and it created relationships beyond just the high school that were too intimate. Too late now, they reaped what they ignored.
