    Teachers, health-care workers need to exercise restraint. Why not police? (Letters)

    Almost every day we see a video on TV of someone gunned down by police in an over zealous arrest, the victims almost always African American. When someone dies because of an over zealous restraint in a group home, school or facility for the disabled, the state clamps down with a vengeance focusing on new restraint policies that don't restrict breathing, that are nonviolent and demand massive documentation to show it was done as a last resort. Teachers, principals and care workers also work overtime to fill out state mandated paperwork to show accountability for restraints. Where's the mandated training ...
