A sick Doncaster man has been jailed after he repeatedly sexually abused a young girl for more than six years. Roger Ashcroft, 35, carried out repeated sexual assaults on the girl over a period of more than six years at two addresses in South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. The shock offences did not come to light until the victim revealed the abuse to a teacher at her school. Ashcroft was arrested by Nottinghamshire Police and later charged with multiple offences.
