    Officials see increase in inappropriate student-teacher relationships in Texas

    These incidents of student-teacher relationships are happening right here in our area. According to the Castro County Sheriff, a Hart ISD employee turned herself in on Tuesday and is now being investigated by officials for allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a student. 23 year old, Elida Bonilla was placed on paid administrative leave. “Those types of things didn’t get reported when I was in high school because there wasn’t a criminal act,” said Randall County District Attorney Robert Love.
