FBI disputes former chief's reason Dallas officer was left on duty during homicide investigations

A day after Dallas police arrested one of their own on capital murder charges, the FBI’s Special Agent in charge disputed a statement made by former Police Chief Renee Hall. Officer Bryan Riser is currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs administrative investigation, said Police Chief Eddie Garcia. Riser had been still working on patrol while the investigation in relation to the two murder cases was ongoing, Garcia said.
