    The guilty plea:

    Teacher gets 6 months in jail for sex with student

    30 Aug 2011

    A Fulton (Ill.) High School teacher who had sex with a student will serve six months in jail. Nicole R. Letcher, 26, an English teacher, was arrested in May on charges she had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old ... Letcher pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a minor, a Class 2 felony. As part of her negotiated plea, three additional counts were dismissed.
