A Kingsway Elementary School fifth-grade teacher is on paid administrative leave pending a personnel investigation, according to Barbara Melanson, assistant superintendent of human resources for Charlotte County Public Schools. Natalie Santagata was placed on leave after Melanson received what she said were “inappropriate photos” via mail, with no return address on the envelope. The school also received photos from an anonymous source, as did parents of Kingsway students, Melanson said. Melanson did not say what was in the photos because the investigation is ongoing.
