2 Teachers Arrested For ‘Molesting’ a Girl Student in South Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Two teachers were on Saturday arrested for allegedly molesting a girl student in south Kashmir’s district of Kulgam, official sources said. They said a girl student complained that she was molested by two teachers at Yaripora in Kulgam district. Police immediately swung into action and took into custody both the teachers, they said, adding further investigation was going on.

J&K: Govt school teacher detained for molesting student

Srinagar: A government school teacher was on Saturday detained in Kulgam district of Kashmir after an 18-year-old student accused him of molesting her, police said. In her complaint to the police, the girl said that on Thursday her teacher tried to molest her while she was returning home in a school bus after having come back from a picnic. 48 year old teacher molests student at picnic

Kulgam, June 7: A 48 year old government teacher was Saturday arrested, here in Yaripora area of this South Kashmir district, after a 12th standard minor girl student alleged that he molested her during a school picnic. Following the accusations the Education Department placed the teacher, Muzaffar Ahmad Mir, a resident of Yaripora under suspension. Police said that the girl (name withheld), a 12th class student at Girls Higher Secondary School, Yaripora was on a school picnic to Pahalgam when the teacher allegedly attempted to molest her on her way back home.
