    Justin Perry Hartweck, 27, was arrested by Collin County Sheriff's deputies and Sachse police on November 23. He is accused of having inappropriate sexual exchanges with a 16-year-old girl. A probable cause affidavit obtained by News 8 describes that Hartweck used several social media platforms to make contact with the teenager in October and November: Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. “The initial report indicates that Justin Hartweck is a youth leader at a church in Wylie, Texas that [the victim] attends,” according to the report.

    Investigators said Hartweck's relationship with the student started when "they began talking about faith and church topics," according to the report. The 16-year0old victim said the "messages became increasingly sexual" and that she should "send him photographs 'just for him,'" the report stated. The victim told investigators she was reluctant to share any photos and said she finally shared "one in her underwear." According to the affidavit, several lewd photos were shared between the two.

    On Twitter, the victim said she got this message about the relationship: "And I'd like for it to progress... like move on." It's unclear if the victim turned Hartweck in, but according to the affidavit, she "began feeling guilty at the way they were talking."

    Dallas Morning News: Garland High School teacher sent teen inappropriate messages, police say (Dec 3 2013)

    Justin Perry Hartweck, 27, was arrested Nov. 23 on a charge of criminal solicitation of a minor, according to Channel 8 (WFAA-TV). Police said Hartweck was sending sexual advances to a 16-year-old girl through social media. Hartweck was a church youth group leader at Waterbrook Bible Fellowship in Wylie where he met the victim, according to an affidavit obtained by Channel 8.
