Guilty A former Newcastle special-education teacher was ordered Thursday to serve 90 days in Placer County jail on a sex-abuse conviction related to a relationship she admitted having with a 16-year-old former student. Jennifer Lynn Woods, 36, had pleaded guilty in June to two felony counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
