Commissioners hear concerns over arrest

Several Coweta residents expressed concerns about how the recent arrest of a 19-year-old Black woman was handled to the Coweta County Board of Commissioners Tuesday night. A bystander took videos of the aftermath of the arrest and posted it on social media, where it was widely shared. According to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office incident report, Jourdan Watson was pulled over for running a red light.
