Former FWHS teacher sentenced for sex with 16-year-old boy TUCSON - The former Flowing Wells High School teacher who pleaded guilty to having sex with a 16-year-old boy in July was sentenced today in Pima County Superior Court. Christina Carbone, 23, entered a Not Guilty plea on May 31, about one month after being arrested and placed on administrative leave by the district. She resigned from her job shortly after. Authorities say the underage boy was not one of her students, and went to Tucson Unified School District. In July, Carbone accepted a plea agreement and was charged with one count of Sexual Conduct with a Minor under 18. Today, she was sentenced to 30 days in jail and three years probation.
