Ex-Catholic school teacher going to prison for repeated sexual assaults of teen student

A former Camden Catholic High School teacher pleaded guilty and was sentenced Friday to four years in prison for repeatedly sexual assaulting a onetime student, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said. Bridget Sipera, 37, of Cherry Hill, admitted to one count of endangering the welfare of a child as part of an agreement with prosecutors, Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer announced. She also must forfeit her teaching license, register as sex offender under Megan’s Law, undergo lifetime supervised parole and have no contact with the victim, Mayer said in a statement.
